Wood Netsuke
These charming, highly detailed Netsuke are hand-carved from boxwood in
China, following traditional Japanese patterns. For an explanation of their
original function, go to the Wood Inro & Tea Scoops page.
Typically, Netsuke have two adjacent holes placed in a way which makes
them useless as pendants. However, Riverstone’s Netsuke have been
custom-made with holes suitable for pendants – except for those
designed in such a way that special holes aren’t necessary. Netsuke
with custom holes are indicated by **asterisks**.
